“HOW TO DOUBLE YOUR NETOPS PRODUCTIVITY” WITHOUT WASTING TIME AND MONEY JUST BUYING TOOLS
Introducing NetOps 2.0 Transformation – The DIRE Methodology
I know it sounds counter intuitive, but let me explain how reducing collaboration helps with NetOps 1.0 to NetOps 2.0 Transformation.
For many years I’ve toyed with the idea of writing a book about NetOps Transformation. I’ve found myself with some free time over the last year to do just that. Expect the book to be out sometime in March 2021, available on iBooks and Amazon (TBD). Sign-up below to receive updates. Here’s a sample to […]

No matter how hard we try, there are always events that happen (seemingly on a daily basis) and before long, network hygiene is all but abandoned, the network state is unknown, and teams begrudge collaborating with each other.
The reality is that Network Engineer’s aren’t able to keep up with documenting the networks, which feeds a continuous circle of preventable outages. These cost some companies millions of dollars per hour of outage, and sometimes it doesn’t stop when the problem is fixed
The challenge we often see is that there is all-purpose documentation which may not have the right amount of detail to ensure the NetOPs engineer can perform this isolation.
